How I rebuilt my A2

Hi Rav, Well thank you very much Rav. It was a pleasure to meet Rav and Mjohal who are both proud owners of A2 1.4TDI's so strengthening our club. ;)

As Murdo say's, I also find it a nice reminder when this thread comes to the forefront.

Shabar, To be honest I can't remember the exact specs of the wheels, will have to check and get back to you, however, they're not in such good shape currently after Audi Chingford damaged them, I lost heart. They need a refurb, and as No.1 Son is now driving Shoby Car, I thought I'd let him settle as a new driver before planning a refurb :)

Actually I just need to know if the rims are 7x18, 7.5x18 or 8x18.

Son has car and I can't for the life of me, remember exactly what they were, they have 215/35/18 tyres on them and I 'think' they are 7.5x18. Without getting hold of car and removing wheel to check I can't say, and that I can't do, not in this weather anyway, sorry Pal.
