Great job
It's going to be great for this weekend, which is probably trying to change the shock absorbers of my car.

From what I see, in mine (which is LHD) it should be easier since the access to the top of the two dampers is clear
.
Waiting for part 2 :D , which is where I have doubts if a spring compressor is needed to remove the shock absorber from the car (I have one but it is still too long and does not fit well)

Thank you very much!

Thanks for doing this 'how to' under realistic conditions, (apart from it's usually raining and passing dogs try to pee on you/me) I'm looking forward to seeing the next part...it's as if I'm watching myself working, I began trying to tell the video "it's a 19mm there on the left" - I'd got pretty absorbed! It's inspiring me to tackle the job I've been putting off for too long. Cheers.

Tom, if you are struggling to do this job, contact me.

Just spotted your message which I first thought was from 2019..Thanks Johny ! I'm not actually doing it yet but as a portent of the future, Janet's A2 was bouncing around prior to the MOT running out awhile ago. It's SORN for now as I'm working (occasionally) on my red one to also get ready for MOT. Less work needed on Ruby so she's first.

Not looking forward to that job on Robert I must say, also exhaust blowing, (likely the flexi ) . One day at a time eh....

Currently using an old Mazda Demio automatic I'd bought for daughter in law last year. Pulled her face because it was a bit too old and squeaky for her! Millennials!!

Was chatting about you to a young guy working at Tesco CHORLEY, he seemed to know about A2's and I'd done "Click and Collect" in different A2s a few times so he was enthusing about them. We're in isolation as Janet's kidney transplant is failing, so dialysis imminent, tends to slow down working on cars for the present.

Thanks once again for your very kind offer though, it's much appreciated and heartening.
This club/forum is fantastic thanks to people like you. Cheers. Tom from Charnock Richard.
