Hydrophobic coating

I’m not new to the a2 but not heard of this one ? What coating is this and how is it applied ? No doubt everyone knows this bar me ?

On boot glass as no rear wipers on an A2, I think. - Andy

I like Aquapel but keep getting a fake masquerading as genuine the last twice I’ve tried to buy it. Let me know how this goes.

I usually use 'Bar Keepers Friend' powder to completely clean the glass, then simply use Rain-X glass cleaner to keep it clean and hydrophic.
