I have found the un-findable water leak!

I have seen a thew people have had a water leak that no one can find, well myn had got worse, I could hear it hissing after a drive so took it to a mechanic I know. When the cars temperature is at 90 its the only time it leaks, pressure test wont find it so they must be done cold???? Any way its, I think they said a plastic hose at the back of the engine, the mechanic showed me where it was, It is quit a big job they said, allot of the engine has to be removed to access it. I will find out what the pipe is called and let you know but all I can remember him saying is its something to do with the thermostat housing??? So anyone with the leak that cant be found, have this checked, your under tray has to be removed to see this pipe!

On top of that they told me my gear box could go anytime so need a new one and my clutch bearing is at the end of its life!! what luck!!!

You are right. I had it done on mine.
About 60€ for the part. It houses the Themp.-sensor as well and is the Wasserflansch /waterflage. The part were the cooling water comes out from teh engine. Black part also holding the thermostat I think.
