LOL !!!

these A2s really are addictive.

Perhaps we should start a "Support group" like the Alcoholics Annonymous group (AA) and call it the (AOA) sound like a scouser there ! The A2 Owners Anonymous.

We could all meet up and discuss our obsession "hi I am Steve and I am addicted to A2s"?

WAIT, we already have that, only it is called A2OC Socials!!!!!

Nice collection Mr Broons!!!!

Agree, very nice collection indeed Mr Broons.

Although, relatively speaking, the A2 is a bargain today, it would be interesting to add up the original purchase price of your collection to determine the true value 'as new'. Not many could have financed such a lavish collection at the time they rolled off the production line.

Cheers.

So if anyone has access to the relevant materials I would love to know the answer to that question also, as somebody has lost an incredible amount of money.

Update, I now have access to basic pricing and have updated to show the *rough* pricing including options listed. I have guessed the price of the TDi 90 base as a TDi 75 plus sport pack, if anyone knows the real price would love to know and will update the list.

54 plate Papaya CS 1.4SE with optional parking sensors, DIS and cruise - £16,168
04 plate Misano CS 1.4TDi 90 with optional parking sensors - £17,165
03 plate Cobalt 1.4Sport with optional Bose, Leather with lumbar, Pan roof and Symphony 2 - £17,925

That would be an option Steve but I have a rather nice set of Pepperpots lined up for it, I am nothing if not consistent

A very good point Darren. Especially since many A2s are pretty much factory fresh (but "lived in "). So the value to us is still very significant. Bargains indeed.

That will be a flyer with pepperpots on. Not my cup of tea in terms of appearance but it will feel very light and quick. Your main issue will be traction if you plan to get it re-mapped.

I,m really envious Mr B !. If I were to buy a second A2 it would certainly be a Tdi colour storm ... looks to be a really nice car. :)

Audi just about got it right with the storm colours Jeff . . . I think it would look good in Island Green but perhaps not Cherry. Ive still got my Indiana Jones head on in search of a holy grail gold/ almond beige one with an orange sports interior. The last time I heard a German A2 owners club member had four of these... :)

I,m not sure if any are colour storms but there were only three cars registered in the UK as having a beige colour. One Tdi 90, one standard 1.4 petrol and one FSi SE. :)
