I have had this small and beautiful car for about two years with alot of problems.

The biggest problem is the engine. Almost a new engine management light problem every day without and clue whats wrong. Another problem is that the car starts then stops if its medium warm.

This has been done so far (its alot).

1. Changed temp sensor
2. Changed crank shaft sensor
3. All coilpacks is new
4. Checked ignition (kabels, volt etc)
5. New sparkplugs
6. NEW INJECTORS!!!
++

This has cost me about 3000£.

Now they wont to check the throttle valve. The car still wont start if it is medium warm. The problem is that this doesn't happend every time.

I need help

Are you getting the fault codes when ever an attempt to repair is made? These would really help narrow down the problem. Does your garage use something like the VAGCOM software to try and diagnose what the car's computer has complained is faulty (and therefore threw the yellow fault light)?

Have you changed the "loom" to the injectors? This is the pack of wires that takes their control signals? I think I've read on the forum that these can be a problem.

Does the car drive badly in any other way - any mis-fires, or poor performance or hesitation?

What type of petrol are you using - suggest use the 98 Octane for a bit.

There was a flash update for the ECU's on the FSI engines a while ago which cured random warning lamps to do with mixture control.

Might be worth a call to your local Audi and ask the to check for any recalls/updates outstanding.

Iceraven, I think I have the same problem with this engine.
The car won't start when you leave it 15 min. and then, after a while, when it cools down it starts?

Hi and welcome to the A2oc
The symptoms on your car often relate to a faulty crankshaft speed sensor. I see it appears to be one of the many parts which did not solve the problem on Iceraven's car but its still the first thing I would consider. As normal, try and get a diagnostic scan and check the connector and wiring first before buying any parts

Cheers Spike
