Ive thought about something similar for ages, I'd quite like a tv where the standard stereo already sits.

I hope the reception of these units is better than the factory-fitted TV Tuner, whose reception is very bad and which is not worth the price....

I'd hope so, if I didn't get excellent reception in a test car it would not get fitted. I wonder whether they would be forward compatible with digital broadcasts when the analog transmissions are turned off....probably not.

The used A2 I bought had the TV Tuner fitted, I would not have paid the €800 for it (but it was an ex-Audi-car), the only good thing is that it makes it easier to hook up other A/V sources to the SatNavPlus (but only if I can get the $/§()-Tuner-Box out of the boot....)
