We have the rigid cuffs (no chain between the two cuffs). Allows for manipulation if the subject plays up (in others twist the b****rs and it hurts and tends to bring the subject back round to what you want them to do and not mess about). We also have the side-handle baton, extendable. Also CS spray, wear-always body armour (must weigh over a couple of stone on it's own). And a big helmet.
So as I said, I'm not putting that lot on in a hurry!.
