Information Interchangeable parts. Petrol>Diesel variants

Hi folks.

I have someone who needs, following a little accident, some parts for their TDi. My breaker is a 1.4 petrol. In addition to the swappable bits; wing and bonnet, the guy needs a hub, wishbone and driveshaft... I'm guessing these parts are not interchangeable. Does anyone know for sure?

All the suspention should be the exactly the same, thow some will have the larger dia anti roll bar which just stiffens body roll slightly , just different spring rates between petrol and diesel models.
 
To the best of my knowledge, teh wishbones changed in 2003. Steel plate vs early cast iron.
Driveshafts are different on TDI (Tripodengelenk on TDI) and Petrols, but the bearing carrier is the same.

Partscats is a good starting place for checking.
