I replaced the intercooler on my AMF TDI around 5 years ago with a new Nissens intercooler. I seems to have failed on bottom edge bit of a bulge and oil spray. a hose out occasionally pops off the valve. N75? And into limp mode we go. Push the hose back in and all is good again for a few hundred miles until hose pops out again. So, I guess it's new intercooler time.
Query,,I have this all alloy intercooler ( from memory a defender?? Intercooler) in the garage which others have used when uprating turbos on A2 tdis. Will this work with a mildly mapped AMF with standard turbo ( intercooler is bigger, thicker) .
If not any recommendations on decent affordable intercooler brands?
