Intercooler rad.

I was digging around the shed today and came across an inter cooler in good condition.
And was wondering if it could be made more robust.
The weak point is the plastic to ali joint that gives way in most cases.

What's your thoughts?

@johnyfartbox when my father and I refitted the kindly gifted lightly used intercooler from @Proghound to Tonka, my father did some fettling in exactly this area to ensure maximum life. Sadly I can’t remember what but I’ll check and come back to you.
