Hi all was wondering what you all used to clean the inside of your A2's??.
Like I want to clean markes off the door trims andash etc and the plastic seems different to most cars so I wasnt sure what to use.
I want it clean and maybe a little shiny but not using that back to black silicon stuff that makes your hands feel funny.
What do you all recommend please.
Regards Andy.

Hi Andy,

After some disastrous experiences in the past with some of the 'back to black' interior dash board cleaners that tend to leave the plastic looking rather cheap and tacky, I tend to just rely upon a nice damp chamois leather for my interior.

For exterior bodywork, Autoglym products are highly recommended and I would suggest that their interior products would be well worth a consideration for stubborn stains or marks.

I am sure others will point you in different directions.

Whatever your choice, happy cleaning... :)

Cheers,

Darren

Similar to Darren c, i have found the best option is to use a damp microfibre cloth to clean the dash with a sprayer filled with water.

I do like to use Autoglym Vinyl and Rubber spray, although you should be careful as it can make surfaces look shiny if you leave it too long before buffing off.

Cheers,

Mike

I've found that unscented baby wipes bring up the interior trim a treat - and they remove all the annoying marks that the door trims get on them.

Have found Meguiars Soft wash gel used with a good microfibre is excellent. For the more stubborn marks Auto Glym Leather Cleaner also along with a microfibre.

I tend to use the Audi leather cleaner which brings the seat and armrests up really well and warm water and and microfibre cloth for the rest.

Some have already previously said but i good one i find, is Autoglym's interior shampoo, you simply spray it on, and have a damp cloth to clean the panels with, works a treat! Thinking about it, i think it's about time i did the inside of mine....

Cheers,

Mike
