Sarah,
I assume that you have the original Concert stereo head unit (single CD unit with a knob on both sides)
There are a few options, some that use the CD changer connector, this will get you a 3.5mm audio input (head phone socket), so you can then connect this to your phone.
You could then add a Blue Tooth unit to this to allow your phone to transmit to the BT unit which then feeds its output to the CD changer connector.
The unit that connects to the CD Changer connector is about £70, the BT unit is about £10 This will give the best audio quality
Alternative is to change the head unit (stereo) for an after market unit that supports Aux in via 3.5mm connector and/or bluetooth, there are some cheap Chinese unit on Ebay and Amazon for about £25 - quality unknown. You will also need a fascia plate as the standard stereo is wider than the aftermarket units (only the face of the unit is different, the body is a standard DIN size)
Other alternative is a bluetooth FM transmitter, it will plug into the cigarette lighter socket and receive music from your phone and then transmit it to the head unit on the FM radio band. You tune the unit to an unused station in the FM radio band. This can be tricky to find a station that is not used in built up areas and is also liable to become a used station as you drive around the country. These units are around £7 and is the solution that I have used very successfully in my wife's A2. The sound quality is nearly as good as the above methods, but not quite. Check out Banggood.com for FM BT units
You also get the added benefit that your phone now becomes connected via 'hand free' meaning that you can take a phone call, it will mute the music whilst the phone is in use, there is a microphone in the FM BT unit, but it did not really work well as the cigarette lighter socket is near your hip and therefore you are not talking into the microphone. I solved this my installing another cigarette lighter socket into a panel fitted into the cubby hole under the heater controls, the FM BT unit now fits into this new socket (which is switch on only when the key is in the ignition, so the FM BT unit can be left in the socket all the time)
Best of luck, let me know if you want links to anything
Cheers,
