Hi All

I unintentionally jumped into ownership just after Christmas with this £350 1.4 TDi with just under 160k.

Various bits and bobs needed sorting.

Done so far....
New seats
New driver's door
Soft touch switches all replaced and radio refurbed
Brake light switch
Heated wing mirrors

Theres a few more bits to do, but today I bit the bullet and took the A2 on its first mission critical trip, travelling 300 miles for work, and due to do another 300 tomorrow.

Was a bit nervous as I need to get it cambelted asap, and as a new to me car I was hoping not to have any issues.

Well so far 6 hours and 300 miles later I've made it to my destination. ?

I'm not jealous at all ! Perhaps you can send the next one you snap-up to me !!

Not fussy, just an Akoya or Silver or Blue TDi 75 with a clean interior good mechanicals and a long MOT please :).

Joking aside I hope you continue to enjoy the A2 ownership experience and find it rewarding to keep one of these babies on the road.

Having owned many cars since my first A2, I can honestly say that I still smile when I drive my A2, in fact I would choose to drive it over my other ones! He still stays in my ownership as I am loathed to sell him...
