Jabbasport rolling road re-map

Just got back from Jabbasport, what a difference! Much smoother and quicker, my return journey was 5 mpg better to boot (and I did open it up a few times to test it out)

Having had two non custom re-maps on other cars the Jabbasport custom re-map to each individual car has significantly smoother power delivery without the power spikes and troughs our other chipped cars have.

Unfortunately the printer isn't working at Jabba so I don't have a before and after printout until next week but the bhp readout was 109, not sure of the torque figure, what really matters is how much less I have to rev the car on the road.
 
Has anyone done a 0-60 test on a chipped 1.4tdi 75? Might have to pop to Santa Pod for a laugh sometime! any takers on what the standing qtr time would be!!
 
Mine feels like it is sub 8secs but I have not had it tested properly,, it is fast though and gives even my mates S3 a bit of scare!!

0-60 is unpredictable sometimes,, get two cars together and put them both in 4th and for a while I will out perform my mates 01 reg S3..!!
 
I have never had it officially tested but it does go fast.. I am much more of an in-gear figure person.. in 4th, the acceleration of this thing is amazing. At present it pulls in 4th from 1200rmp to around 100mph in an amazingly quick time.

Now I have previously had an AMG Mercededs and a TWR BMW 3 series, the BM had about 400bhp and 400lb/ft of torque and was really quick, so I am able to compare feelings.. Trust me, the A2 is quick and whether is does a sub eight or not,, its quick.

Traction is an issue for me,, yellow triangle all the way into 2nd can be a pain.. But the torque figure puts a smile on your face as most cars lose out in that 5th gear 80mmph-110mph bracket where as this babe just brings it on..

In the future I might well tinker with a better exhaust, slight pressure boost on the turbo and maybe some N2O,, just for a laugh.. what I really need is a six speed gear box and different diff,, then maybe I could make 4500rpm sing..

Got the power map today,
109.6 bhp at 3533 rpm
256.1 nm of torque at 2595 rpm
max speed 192.1 kmh (119.316 mph)
Also drove it properly for the first time without the SO and kids in the car, blimey it's a beast! great fun on the windy roads!

have only just joined and have been well impressed with the amount of members and forum subjects. Having owned a chipped TT (225 to 270 Bhp by AMD) i was considering getting my 75 tdi done and was quoted 399 + vat by a company called Fontain (audi specialists www.fontain.co.uk) for a REVO chip. They claim an increase up to 109 bhp and a tq increase up to 182 lb/ft, how does that compare to the jabbasport item with ref to costs? Have checked jabba's web site but there is no mention of chipping A2's?

Look forward to any replies.

Contact Nick at Jabba, he did mine for £385, they did 30 miles in mine on the rolling road so the re-map was right for my car, not an off the shelf non specific one like I have previously had in my Sharan and Golf.
I really cannot reccommend this re-map highly enough, it's great!
