Hi,

Anyone got a definate link to a rubber puck you can put into the jacking hole under the sills, chassis for using a trolley jack with more purchase?

I see these but unsure on wether theyll fit, anyone had any experience?

I would be interested in one of these as well. The idea of using a rubber puck on the trolley jack works really well but there are a few different ones.

My thought is a set of 4 that you fit and forget...

Hopefully they will encourage tyre fitting types to use the correct points...🤨

As it happens, I've provided some size information to a company that do these.

I have the first trial puck, but it was too loose and dropped back out of the jacking point.

They're now working on v0.2...

When we're sorted, I'll post all details so folks can buy direct.
Excellent stuff!!

Just a little update on this...

The company I'm dealing with is about to send out the mk2 version for me to try.

Hoping this will be a good fit front and rear, I'll add details as soon as all is good.

Hopefully you'll all run out and buy some when done to stop pesky tyre places from doing damage... 😡😡🤩.

I have no connection with the company, or vested interest...

I found one of these pucks lodged in the back of my Tesla M3 yesterday by coincidence. Wondered what it was at first, but I think it's been stuck (was quite stubborn to come out) after I had a recent new tyre.

When I get the time, I'll see if it fits Tank - would be an off the shelf solution if so.

Might do, but pretty sure that the guys I'm talking to sent me a standard Tesla one first and it just drops out. !

Think the best thing is a set of 4 and just leave them permanently in place...

Would be nice to get some 'jack here' decals made up too...

Yes, having just tried it, the Tesla one does fall out.

They would however, be a safe bet to aid jacking at home as they provide a secure location method, with the pin in the hole of the chassis. No matter how plain you try to make it, you'll always get some spanner money who will crack a sill, thinking they know best.
