our a2 came treated with JewelUltra Diamond Brite or something like that...
you have to use the special stuff to wash the car and there is another thing that you apply too...
seems to work... rain pebbles off nicely... but i have a feeling that the Maguires stuff is easier to use... not sure though...
it comes with a 5 or 7 year guarantee too...
whatever that means...
