Joining the A2 owners club today

Hi All

I have been searching to an A2 to use as a commuting car as well as having something my children can drive and learn to drive in.

Today I took a couple of brave pills and handed over a pile of cash in exchange for a lovely black A2 1.4. Not sure if it is SE or not! Leather seats, panoramic roof, parking sensors!

Drove back 2 hours through SE london and the M25 and all seems well, touch wood. I put some Shell VPower in it for a bit of an Italian tune up on the way home.

This site and the members who contribute were invaluable in the background research so thanks everyone.

I will invest a bit in the upkeep of the car (servicing etc), I am hoping that it gives me a few year of cheap motoring in return.

If anyone has a rear window winder let me know, I just notice that one of the rear ones is badly broken.

I am sure I will be back with more stories from my owning experience.

Thanks all

I will try and take some pictures today once the fog clears and upload them to the thread.

I just had a major service, break fluid change etc. Nothing scary found by the Audi Independent which is always a relief.

I was just looking at the dates for Audi in the Park, I will try and clear the dates with the wife as it would be great to see some other A2s and meet their owners.

Comments welcome, I have a Rear window winder on order and spare wheel, after that I should be good to go.
