k&n air filter

i cant find an induction kit any where and have been told to get the replacement k&n filter, iv heard a thew peopple on here have it and im jus wondering is it any good? can you notice the diffrence? is it louder than the standard one?:confused:

I have one impossible to tell if Im getting more power to be honest but its good to have all the same if it does! It seems to me that I can hear the car breathing more than before but its not really noiser just different. I think you can hear the turbo more now too on light throttle You could probably engineer a cold air feed to the airbox using pipework running from the bumper.

Hi Scott it has been posted on here that you can't run a induction kit because of the way the engine breathes, you need all that pipe work, the K&N is better but its not going to make a massive differance

I have put a K&N filter on 1.6fsi engine, and it has made it noiser than the standard one.
