Keep spotting A2'S

I dont know what it is but since owning my audi a2 i keep seeing quite a few of these on the road 03 plate 05 plates 51 plates Y plate its crazy i have seen more A2'S than i saw of Audi S3's and thats strange as i have both !:D
 
A2s are getting more and more poular now, as people are realising just how much car you get for the money.

It's the same old story though, you only notice them when you're driving one!

I've given these DVLA stats before but now I've add the plate letter/number. I hope I've got that right. As you can see, X through to 52 are the most common (W will only apply to those registered in the launch month of August 2000)

The % by year will in reality be less as the A2 was sold up to 2006 but the DVLA want £££ to give me any more up-to-date data :-(

True! Below are the number of A2 manufactured and the number of UK registrations.

In percentage terms, the A2 became more popular in the UK as the years went on rising from 2% of all A2s in 2000 to 15% in 2006.

In terms of all Audis manufactured, the A2 was never more that the 7% in 2001

Over the period 2000 to 2006 A2s made almost equalled A8s and a bit over half the number of TTs

The data came from a s/s off the internet and it gives its source as the Audi Annual Reports
