keyword searches

As a new owner there is much I'd like to find out about.

But when I try a search I'm finding I get too many results.

Is it possible to search on keywords but make the search *only* return threads with all words found?

e.g. on other fora I could put in:

+trip +computer

and I'd only get threads with both of those words in them... but doesn't work like this here?

I am having the same problem.

The main issue seems to be that what the private signature information is included in the search results, is there any way to exclude the signature info from the search results ?

Edit : I am a member of several other vBulletin boards where I do not have this problem, is this a user setting ?
