Kimbolton country Fayre 2017

Lovely to meet all you lovely folks there today, as has been mentioned it was too hot sometimes, but unlike others it seems I managed to get home okay (although I only had a 30 mile trip), but I am now suffering a leeetle bit of sunburn, as I forgot the Factor 50 this morning. So out comes the Aloe Vera :)

I'll post some pics in a bit, including the "group shot".

Special thanks to Steve Birchall for taking special care of my A2 :)

To Darren C - that bloke was still hovering around the stand when I left at 3:30 ... I reckon he'll be a forum member in the next two weeks ;)

Wow what a fabulous day! Thank you so much Mike and Vonnie for arranging and also booking the table for the meal the night before. It was so lovely.
It was great to see everyone and thank you for looking at Mabel Gary - she rattled and lurched her way home, although did seem to pick up a bit as we got closer to Norwich.

Thank you also for making my parents feel so welcome. When took them back to their car, they said that it was unusual to find such a bit group of people who are all so lovely. I suspect they may be along again sometime!

Looking forward to the next one! :)

As promised, a few photos from the day...

Great pics Jeramy it was a great day --- we wouldn't be british without talking about the weather, but it was hot.

Thanks to all that came i had a fab day but my poor little legs said no more standing or walking. The collection of A2.s looked great with such a variety of colours-whilst i lay on the grass between my car and Robins it was funny to eves drop on peoples comments on the A2's. we all know they must be the most "marmite" of all Audis. We had the usual comments of "not a proper audi-funny little cars-they need to go to a dealer to even take the bonnet off-have you seen how much room is in there? - the sat nav is the same as a proper audi" all good fun.

We had no worries on space but very conveniently the trees offered some welcome shade. I missed the 3.0 clios though always thought they look really special. The F40 looked awesome along with some of the older classics. The live bands were fab and really added to the summer picnic atmosphere.

Ill add my pics in due course----so don't forget its only a few weeks till Audis in the park--so it would be great to see even more cars and members. Cheers mike and Yvonne

They are fabulous pictures. I love the group ones. Is there any chance I could be really cheeky and use one of them as my Facebook cover photo please? I'd be happy to pay for it.
Thank you x

Love the Spitfire pic, mine turned out way too small. :)

I had the camera on "Motor Wind" - there was about 15 photos, only one of which was any good, and even that was heavily cropped :)

I loved that red Rover P6 3500 - Listening to the guy he had about 6 classic cars that he used all of them "at least once a week", so it wasn't a garage queen.
