Lights

Does anyone know how to get the cover off, or more specifically how to change the side indicator lights that are on the front side wing?

Side repeaters is just a case of prying the lights out using a plastic knife or similar to avoid damagin the parts.

To get the back cover of the main lights off, remove the light first by undoing the 2 T30 screws and then just flip the wire retainer to one side.

Cheers Skipton, already had the 2 main light units off today and repositioned as one seemed a little out-a-place which was effected when putting bonnet back on (the rubber surround mostly effected it would seem)!

I was looking at changing the side lights and indicator lights to LED, couldn't be cheeky and ask which ones I would need for the front and side indicators?

I have been checking the threads and have decided on the 9 LED tower from autobulbs for the side light.

Next would be changing the interior ones to LED :D

Any advice welcome.

P.S, am looking for more major jobs for you to do that would make a trip up more worthwhile. (I would appreciate if you could look at my A2 as I am a little concerned that the front doesn't seem to level up properly) :(

The front indicators would be tricky, as you'd need ones with a 90 degree bend in it, so that it faces front whan installed.

As to side repeater, you'll need a yellow version of a wedge bulb, W5W.

For interiors, drop A2sumo a PM, as he's replaced the lot with LED

Cheers,

Mike

rear lights

Q. Would a load resistor fix the issue of fitting rear brake lights with LEDs if you have cruise control and is this problem only with the fog lights and rear brake lights or others effected also?
