Chivers recently sent me this, so thought I'd post it on the forum...

I really like it. On the other hand, I like the A2 now too. So I don't think i'll be ordering one...

for my money, I like the original grille. (Or non-grille!).

I remember the first time I saw an A2. I saw that smooth 'radiator grille' and thought "Eh?". Followed by "How does any air get in there?" and "Perhaps thats not where the radiator is...?" etc.
The fact that it conceals the unique service module makes the design even more delicious!

I dont mind the new grille, but the original one is part of what makes this car so distinctive. I cant help feeling that changing to this new design is somehow succumbing to making the car more 'regular'?

This ones gonna divide owners opinions thats for sure!

I think its because its different and associated with the new model is why its so appealing.

If the old grill was the ridged one and the new one the smooth version we would all be hankering after that.

Have just ordered the new grill from my local Audi dealer, they have them on back order, I will let you all know how I get on with the fitting when it arrives.[25]
