I often run without the rear seats in for a bit of weight saving, but am not keen on being whacked on the back of the head by whatever's in the boot in the unfortunate event of a shunt...
So, butchering a standard load cover and using some webbing and my mum's old sewing machine, I came up with this.
I removed the guts from the load cover, cut the webbing to length and hot melt glued everything together to hold it all in place whilst I worked out the intricacies of the old sewing machine...
Not going to win any sewing bees, but seems to have worked pretty well. I need to do something to keep the ends of the load cover extended and pushed into the slots as it's lost all its springs with the internals removed.
