looks great, and cant agree more on needing decent tools for the job. Ive been building the kids a playhouse/den and first thing I got was a DeWalt Impact driver for fixing it all together, there is no way the rubbish multi purpose drill I had was going to cope with the hundreds of screws needed for the job. Here is some photos, its not finished yet as I hadn't decided on how to do the roof (its going to be a living roof), I now have the materials to get it finished, now just need the time!

Amazing! I do love seeing what people make. It’s such an accomplishment.

I’m still working on:
- A variable bench power supply
- A large car solar panel and charge controller (40watt) - still losing battery charge too quickly
- A portable car jump starter
- A portable β€˜mains’ battery briefcase
- A Webasto heater powered auxiliary hot tub heater
- replacement battery packs for some power tools which were cheap without packs
- replacing hammer drill battery cells with lithium.

I’ll finish one of them at some point (two or more is likely too much to hope for) but it’s encouraging to see that other people don’t suffer from my inability to complete.

Well last weeks woodwork project a potting bench no not for wacky backy 🀣 ...for when we pop on seedlings 🌱 Douglas fir framework western red cedar the rest ..came out well if I do say so myself ..top has steel slave screws ( all other were stainless ) so I could glue up but the stainless should be here tomorrow then just tang oil it ..and just bought a really nice piece of ash 3m x600 x65mm thick I want to make myself a proper woodworking bench some great ideas out there so going to pick and choose the best bits this ash has been down over 2 years 3 months cut I will leave it a year in my dehumidified garage and start it next summer..air drying they say 1” a year so I’m hoping to speed that up will wax the ends to help stop splitting ..
