Lousy Dealers and good dealers

I tried this morning to contact my dealer to amend a pre booked appointment (remote not working).I phoned 6 times from 0900, each time a promise to ring back, nothing. At 1430 I was so fed up I drove round there and had to wait half an hour to be attended to. I love my Audi , but what with Audi Uk and my dealer I am not happy, and would be unlikely to buy another Audi. A Mercedes owner was in the showroom, he said Mercedes were worse! My Volvo dealer is useless, I now use an independent Volvo repairer. So I won't be buying another Volvo, because of lousy dealers, or a Merc,or an Audi. We recently bought a Nissan, superb service from both the dealer and Nissan UK, they even gave us 2 free services to apologise for a slight problem.
No doubt when VAG sack Audi UK as Nissan did some time ago, things will improve in the same way. I suppose the moral of this story is, don't buy a prestige car when you can get 2 lesser models for the same money i.e. change twice as often so they are always in Warranty.
Ther I've had my rant, I feel better for that.
