OK here goes I recently aquired a 2001 A2 1.4 from a friend Who inherited it from his recently deceased uncle. It was originally bought from Smith Knight Fay Audi Manchester as a demonstrator a lady owned it for 19 years she had it serviced every year and the current mileage is 64000 mls anything that needed doing was carried out at her local independent garage and all receipts for tyres cambelt bulbs came with it, plus a fully stamped up service book, bodywork is very good with minimal marks although one door as had paintwork
Done but just a slight area is noticeable usual alloys need refurb and some marks to rear spoiler, interior really clean original over mats some areas of fading on plastics it drives really good no issues had mot in Fec 2020 no advisories plus new discs in Nov’ . I bought it to give to my grandson but Ins’ is too much for him so may sell it ,so 1 deallet demo, then lady ownerf for 19 years then she stopped driving and sold it to my friends uncle in 2020 he passed away and it went to him who then stored it for 8 moths he then sold it to me so 4 previous owners, any ideas on what it’s worth please?

Pictures would be a good start. Selling it here it is possible but it should posted in the market section.

Hi,

First do not be surprised if your thread is moved to Wanted in the Marketplace, since it may be construed as a 'fishing' exercise and that is not allowed in the main forum.

Second please revisit your post and make it a bit more readable.

Third, nobody can offer a valuation without a lot more details. Petrol or diesel, preferably with engine code? SE, sport or standard? Any desirable extras? eg leather seats, double din, Bose sound system, OSS. Registration plate to allow checking of MOT history.

Fourth, you have to add pictures.

Good luck.

Andy

OK,I’m new to this so will take photos ,it’s pretty standard Petrol what’s the difference between standard and SE trim ? it is a 5 seater with rear bench seat but no middle headrest I guess it got misplaced at sometime

Most A2 cars are 4 seater. If it only has two rear seat belts and two rear headrests, it will be a 4 seater.

SE spec includes foglamps, false floor in the boot, leather contact points (steering wheel, gearknob, handbrake grip).
Sport spec omits foglamps and false floor but has Sport seats with chunkier bolsters, three-spoke steering wheel, chrome shank on gearknob, and full DIS (trip computer).
Base spec has none of these things, just plastic contact points.
Although any of the above upgrades (and more, such as the 3-seater rear bench in your car) could be optioned from new.

hi it as 3 seats with 3 seatbelts and holes for a headrest in the middle of the backrest so presumably it’s a 5 seater which is rare?

In all honesty it's generally difficult to price A2,s at the moment. A low mileage 2001 petrol could possibly be worth anywhere between £1,000 and £2,000 so I would aim high and be prepared to take offers. Our market rules state a price is required for cars that are for sale. Can you please re advertise in the market section with a listed price and photos.

Hi yes it’s a SE then as it’s got those upgrades
