Yes, but I believe that it was probably caused by scammers rather than genuine users. But you never know!

One thing is for certain, the forum is becoming busier every day and lots of new members registering every day too.

Things are looking good.

The atmosphere appears as friendly and as helpful as ever, if not more so!

Onwards and upwards.

The A2OC is not only web based, it's a social thing too. Members regularly meet up, some members are good friends with each other. Not not just the cars either.
As I stated before, if you appreciate one thing of the same reason as someone else, you will both also have very similar opinions on other things too. And isn't that why people get along? The fact that it can help you save money, improve your ownership experience and are given a clue to what mechanics say just a bonus. Join an OC, even if there is a fee, the information you gain is probably worth double the amount. Do it today. Honestly, you don't have to stick the sticker in the window if you still feel weird about it, we understand.

Came across this blog a few days ago, great reading and he couldn't sum the club up better imo, well worth the time if nobody has read through it, no doubt in the club archives but i hadn't come across it before, hoping KOLO is still around.

Nice to see this discussion. I keep a regular eye on forum activity as Birchall will confirm given that I spam his WhatsApp account with the numbers!

The 2043 in January does seem to be an anomaly however we've doubled the active user base in the last couple of years. Currently active users ( those who've registered and actively post in given time frame ) . This sits at 465.

We've got between 250 and 500 people online at any given time ( outside of UK bedtime! ). All in all pretty healthy for a niche owners club.

This year we're aiming to increase the online usage to around 500 on average. An achievable goal with the current activity level and numbers of people joining the club.

There's no business ambition there - we won't be looking to have sponsorship so the number of hits doesn't matter in that sense. But it does contribute greatly to the buoyant and friendly atmosphere we have within A2OC.

Thanks to everyone for contributing to this. It's great to see.

No doubt they are robots trawling for posts containing email addresses. Never post your email address online!!!!! They get harvested and sold to spammers and worse. Emails in recent forum posts must be worth more as they are most likely to be active email accounts. Also any spam message will no doubt have an email subject like "your recent post on A2OC" just to entice one to open it. It's a jungle.

Yes, good move.

If anyone wants to send you an email they just have to click on your user name and then select "Send Email". They are then taken to a new tab which shows your email address and with a link to send you an email.
