Missing ignition

1.4tdi.
Sometimes when turn a key, no ignition lights on dashboard. After few tries light come ok.
Today ignition gone while driving, engine stop.
Igntinion switch change month before.
New earth cable from starter to body
Baterry cables clear
Any ideas?

Check relay number 219 (J317 in the wiring diagrams) next to the ECU. It gets the on-signal from the ignition switch and switches on the main power for the ECU and other components.

Bad 219 relay can shut down engine and dashboard while driving?

Try start without relay. Turn key, dashboard on, starter ok. Engine no start. Ok.
Whith relay turn key, (sometimes) no dashboard lights, starter ok, engine no start.
While driving sometimes engine stops, dashboard lights of. Whaiting 5 mins try key and all is ok, till next time

When the engine stopped, while you were driving, do you remember what lights, on the dash, came on when it stopped, but before you stopped, and switched the ignition off?

Thanks. Was the VCDS scan a full scan, (Auto Scan), of all controllers?
Last thing, when the dash goes out, and the ignition fails, did you notice anything else, did the radio go off? If at night, did the lights go out?
