Looking stunning Ian; factory fresh. Did you elect not to sell in the end?

I hope that you don't mind, I took the liberty of merging the threads for simplicity of viewing.

Audi A2

Hi Darren

Thanks for doing the merging for me.

Yes I decided to withdraw the car sale I never got one enquiry for same (as Murdo says I never gave it enough time)
story of my life lol!

The car is really in mint condition I have installed the grey leather now and it feels better to sit and drive in.The original
Platinum seats in mint condition share my loft space with the rest of my odds and sods.

The next job this week is to drop the oil and treat same with full Quantum synthetic oil and VAG oil filter and pollen
filter. That should do till next winter not doing any mileage on same.
I will try and get my high pressure hose on to the underside and that will be job complete.

Best Regards: Ian Robertson

A wise move in my humble opinion Ian; your car is simply first class. I'm confident i would have been after purchasing it myself had the timing been different.

Hopefully get to see yourself and the car at a social in the future. Enjoy the fettling and keep the pictures coming.

Cheers,

Darren

Hi Darren

Thanks for the kind words I am sure we will meet at one of the meets

Best Regards: Ian Robertson

nice car robbo :)

thats beyond a spring clean for my liking but what a job it makes taking the seats out.

should you, me or anyone else north of the border consider & agree on meeting up at a social then it might be feasible for us to use one car the several if its ok :)

i will not ask which foot you kick with as i dont want to make an assume with location ;) if you know what i mean lol

cammy

Hi Cammy

That would be no problem mate.

As with the seats coming out I killed two birds with one stone ie I put the grey leather seats in after a wee clean up, didn't really need same I like to keep my
cars in showroom condition sometimes better than it left the factory lol !

I'd happily take passenger/s to a social sometime. The only problem being most of them are an overnight stay due to distance involved and the kinda point of a social as well as meeting fellow enthusiasts and talking A2s - is showing off the A2s!

So if we had team Scotland in one motor we'd probably :

1. Get lifted by the Polis half way doon the M74 for being a group of shifty looking eejits in a wee Audi

2. Fight over who's paying for the coffee at the motorway service stations after fainting at the price of it.

3. Miss out on an opportunity with a couple on nice A2s sat on the driveway at home.
