here was my first a2 bought from an a2oc member (now my dads) a basic model which is pearlescent green with no upgrades apart from the radio shown in photo.

Great spec on yours Cammy and a nice colour as well. Your father's looks a nice colour combination too and there's somehting quite appealing about the simplicity of it. Really like the 16 inch TT alloys as an alternative to the standard SE 16's.

Cammy, your dads A2 is my preferred colour choice, i looked along time for one before my purchase but nearly all came with the light interior and i was set on leather, if a low mileage tdi came along in that colour with black leather interior and some other nice extras for sure i would have 2 A2's on the drive.

Loving the beige/brown dash interior combo of your dads example and your Blue interior too

thanks guys for your replies :)

what i will say is that when its a bright sunny day the pearlescent pine green changes into a nice brownish colour :) im not enamoured by my azure blue and feel its a cold flat colour imo. what attracted me to my car was all the options it had minus the opensky :( and not to forget the price!

i think i might be correct in saying this but this could be the first car i make money from if i were to sell it, which wont be anytime soon if i can help it :)

Cammy, lovely A2 you have there.

Tip for the rear seat nettings... Hairdryer and the palm of your hand to massage it back into shape.

thanks for reply manhatten :)

as for the tip...what exactly do you mean by massaging it back into shape? its very saggy and looks over streched. will the heat shrink the elastic back into shape? ive also tried to google this and couldnt find anything related to this :/

cheers

I had it, but not as bad on one of my previous A2's.

Using a hairdryer moving about the area to warm it up and then use the palm of your hand to massage it back into shape.

It may take a while, but it should remove most of it.
