My hazards just randomly go off / Battery connection

Hi Guys,

My hazards randomly all of a sudden go off and start blinking.

I had recently replaced the battery and have a suspicion that the terminal point on the positive is not tightened enough and is not secure.

Can someone pls ping me a photo of their battery connection or better still how to secure the connections on the battery.

It seems very fiddly and due to it being a very tight space I think the terminal is not secure. Help.

If it's the battery connection you would probbaly see other problems when drawing high current like when starting. There is a good possibility that it's the flasher relay failing.

Here are 2 pictures of the block. One bolts it to the positive terminal then there are a couple more under the cover. All 10mm if I remember correctly.

This has happened to me a couple times, it turned out to be the hazard/flasher relay module.. was a bit of a pig to change as you need to have tiny hands!

Oh no . I don't have tiny hands I'm afraid.... I will try connecting the battery and block and go from there.

I didn't get a chance to check today, was snowed under. sure to know as soon I've done bolted the battery block and given it a good run

If it is loose I suggest that you take it apart and remove any tarnishing or signs of arcing before bolting it back up nice and tight.
