My heart is braking

We have just had a call from our vet to let us know what to expect for Max, she confirmed the tumour is aggressive, his life expectancy is 6 months at best. We will have a few months to pamper our pooch and give him the best last few month he could ever have, so I ask anyone who is attending Audis in the park to come and say hello to our boy and meet the gorgeous and special little man he truly is. We look forward to seeing you all in just over a week.
So sorry to hear this Mark. I'm definitely up for giving Max a good fuss at AItP. Hopefully the vet will be able to give some steroids to help slow things down. I had a cat with a similar tumour and prognosis once, but thankfully steroids managed to turn the expected few months, into 3 years. Hugs to you all

Thanks Teresa, they are going to try steroids but the vet has said with this type of tumour it's not likely to help much but I'm willing to try anything that doesn't hurt him further. When we see the vet today at 6pm we will collect steroids and strong pain relief to help him as much as possible, then it's just a case of love him and treat him till the worst has to happen.

Thanks @Howey we've just come back from the vets with lots of meds to keep him pain free and to reduce the swelling. Now we need to focus on giving him the best time we can until the end.

Thank you from both myself and Angie for all the kind messages, we both appreciate the support and we hope as many of you get to meet him as possible in the near future.
