My new Ebony Black 1.6 FSI Sport

S2Dicky I've gone the other way on my 54 plate storm ..taken the marketing teams idea of a fussy service plate off and fitted the original design by Luc Donkervolke.. a masterpiece of timeless design .. the flat service flap not purporting to be a cooling grill ... just my opinion

Predictive txt damn it...it is Luc Donckerwolke who also also designed the Lamborghini Murcielago.. as well as various Bentleys.. now works for Hyundia urghh!! and not VW..

Yep each to there own I like both looks but the later grill matches my allroad nicely as well

Pleased to say since fitting the new N316 valve she is running like a dream and no warning lights, and I finally know what an FSI should drive like

Now I'm feeling the love for the the little bubble again need to get the wheels refurbed when the weather gets a bit better

I am almost there with my Fsi. I have the EGR pipe and the Vacuum hose to replace before I am pleased. After reading your thread I will also order the N316. Hopefully I will get the same satisfaction as you. It has been a long journey to get the engine rev happy, without hesitation and with stabile idle rpm.

A little update

Well it's been a month now since fitting the N316 valve and still all good and no dash lights

Here is a couple of pics from the weekend after a run out to the coast although it does need a wash and those wheels refurbed when the weather gets a bit better.
