My very own 'HOLY GRAIL' well I think so anyway

1st day of detailing today and like everyone else finding all those little bits you didn't spot on inspection at the sale!
Thankfully only one thing so far a piece of broken interior trim which I have managed to source and replace,
Oh and a few clumsy scrapes on arches where the last owner must've tried to squeeze into he's garage!
1.6 FSI for me this time in Cobalt Blue(again)
25,000 miles with full Audi history bar two at a specialist,
Platinum seats at the moment but have leather coming soon which I am looking forward to warming up for next winter, provided TIMMUS can fit me in he's busy schedule before winter, 'Just kidding Tom'
Looking forward to cherishing this keeper and it actually does drive like a new car, just better looking!!
Only one pic for now and will have to update my signature once I workout how!
Cheers Jeff

25000 miles! Thats a hell of a find and means that now you can enjoy using it as an every day car knowing that it has many many years service left.

Looks like a clean motor and I totally agree which is why I try and take an impartial friend to any viewing so he/she can spot the obvious issues that I miss once I am set on buying a car!

Cheers PaulA2, thankfully it'll almost be a weekend car as I drive a van all week for work so making me look forward to its pleasure even more

Cheers Paul,
Be nice to get some more pics up later maybe!
Jobs planned: heated leather, Dis, maybe mfsw, I'd like to keep it as Oem as possible and albeit the expensive route with the mods its sometimes the only way with limited stock about,
1st mod already completed as I mentioned on earlier post was cruise which is great, thanks again (TIMMUS)
Had this done within 3 hours of car purchase and I must admit was a little nervous at the fact my new car was being pulled to bits, carefully I might add! I will definitely be returning to Timmus's neck of the woods in the future! He restored my confidence very quickly!!
BTW no double din unfortunately which would've been nice!
Cheers Jeff

Looks a beauty, nice colour too. I must stick cruise control on mine.

Great mileage as well, I'm just about to roll 100,000 in our new purchase in the next few weeks

100k is nothing for these great little cars if serviced regularly, is yours petrol or diesel?
Cheers Jeff

(edit) Apologies just seen on your signature you have a FSI too!

Nice colour combo !. The back seats look like new. I have the indentations where the seat belt buckles press into the leather when they are folded. Timmus suggested going over these "dents" with a hairdryer and they should "pop" out - havn,t tried it yet though.

The belt buckles are a pain as they are sprung loaded, once folded I just double check mine and move them flat and they usually stay in place then as the seat holds them!

Have you tried some heavy duty Velcro? On the side?

That keeps them down until needed, when you are folding the seats they will stay down!

FRONT LEATHERS IN PLACE! Out with the old and in with the newish

Well I managed to get the front sports leathers in this afternoon and I must say I'm chuffed to bits!
Here's a few pics of the process!
Apologies if these are in reverse order lol!
Just need conditioning now and some hairdryer treatment on the dimples!
Big thanks to Manhattan$ Paul for great advice, top man!
