Have an incredible time everyone, I do hope that the weather holds and the event is the usual success, not least to celebrate Graham's life.

P.S. Nice to see Gary is so relaxed whilst you take a selfie on the move from behind the wheel T (and yes, I do know it is a mirror image of you in the passenger seat ;)).

Having arrived home to a weather difference when we got out of the A2, akin to getting of the plane when you fly abroad (Richmond a lovely 20 degrees, but slightly damp, Norwich, a very hot, sunny and sticky 28), I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along this weekend.
Gary and I had a great time and I hope you all did too. Whilst my new job keeping me very busy, meant that I had fewer spreadsheets than I did last year, I did at least manage to remember to order mine and Gary's food. I'm sorry my low energy levels today meant that this morning was a bit more freestyle than last year, but I hope everyone had a safe journey home.

Whilst my introversion means that I'll be in bed asleep before 7, I wouldn't change it for the world. A poignant, but beautiful send of for Graham, followed by a brilliant Dale's drive and meals, castles and quality time with the most amazing group of people. Love you all big time x

Home safe after the most unforgettable social I'll ever attend. A bittersweet few days. It was a privilege to bid farewell to Spike. To spend time with his lovely wife Janet and witness the strength she took from our being there . Its a lovely part of the country..changeable weather but picture postcard stuff nonetheless. What a lovely little community in North Yorkshire. And I'm reminded what a lovely community A2OC is. I've never been so proud to be part of it as I am this weekend. Big love to you all. Online or in person we are a wee bit special and thanks for making that so. I didn't take many photos so I'll leave the photo bombing to the professionals. (We had people scaling roofs to catch the perfect shot. Now that's devotion for you ) ❤️

Indeed a very good weekend with mixed emotions, we stopped for a brief interlude in the wonderful Yorkshire dales on the way home
Thank you @Teresa for all your hard work organising the socials, you do a brilliant job and we certainly appreciate it, keep up the good work.

What a weekend! A long way there and back, and a real mixture of emotions. Starting with Graham's funeral, attended by something like 200 people - he was clearly very well liked and respected in the village community, as he was in our online one. Very pleased that as a club we were able to give Jan the convoy of A2's in the cortege that she wanted.

I now particularly owe Graham a debt of thanks beyond the grave: the brake light switch from his A2 is currently in my Storm since my original failed on Saturday afternoon, on the way down beautiful Swaledale towards Richmond, after a drive of rather heavy use! Thanks are also due to Janet for allowing this to happen, and to Murdo for arranging it. Plans are of course in place to get a replacement reinstated in Graham's car.

It's been lovely to spend time in the best of company this weekend, to eat, drink and drive in convoy with everyone again in a wonderful part of the country. Thank you to @Teresa for putting it all together. I'll put some photos up when I'm back on my proper PC.

Hi Folks,

I hope everyone had a safe trip home yesterday and as always a big thanks goes to Teresa for organising everything 😉

I had a thoroughly enjoyable weekend catching up with everyone and going for a drive on the Saturday, didn't so much enjoy the drive back from the B&B Sunday morning when I hit a pothole and wrecked a brand new tyre 🙈 My heart sank but luckily when I opened the boot I had a collapsible spare wheel and a complete toolkit in the front of the car so manged to get back to the site and found a really nice guy in Darlington that fitted a new tyre so I could get home safely.

Oh and it was good getting up close to have a look at Gary's stunning new A2 😍

The only decent pic I really took was the one from the roof at the pub car park

Evening all,

Thought I contributed here yesterday but didn’t actually tap Post reply.

Another great weekend catching up with you all and chatting everything A2 plus much more.

Teresa @Teresa thank you so much for the time spent behind the scene to pull off yet another successful Social. See you all next time!

Kind regards,

All at 2work Towers

A few photos from last weekend ☺️
