new a2 in 2007?

hi,
ive heard that audi will be releasing a new model a2 in 2007.
also that it will not be aluminum,due to the high costs etc.

any other info guys?

Very interesting (but a step forward) considering Audi was to stop production of the current model. If Mercedes can keep the A-class then Audi must keep the A2 as smaller cars are a becoming an important market especially in areas where parking is a problem. The increase in economy is a benefit to the environment and future fuel supplies (not wishing to portray myself as a total 'tree hugger').
