Just a quick hello to all on the forum.

Just picked up my new to me - 2001, black a2 1.4 tdi se 75hp. 2 loving owners from new with the last owner being a friend of a friend.

She has done 144k miles, with 120k of these on the motorway, and has a fsh. MOT until next year, new alloys, new exhaust and new brake discs and pads all round.

In absolutely fantastic condition throughout.

All I need to do now is a belt, water pump change, oil, filter etc & she is good to go.

For £1000 I think that was very reasonable : )

Welcome to a2oc and as always great to see more Scottish members ! :)

Welcome to the A2 owners club.

Sounds like a bargain at that price. I'm a big fan of the TDI.

I have sent you a pm (private message) containing lots of useful information about the club.*

You can access this by clicking on the word 'Notifications' at the very top of this page.**

VAG-COM VCDS is the tool that you can use to inspect any sensor based issues on the car and also it can be used to programme the cars features too. You will come across it as you progress ownership.

Black always suits them, nice wheels too!!!

Hi I too am a New Scottish member with a 2004 1.6 FSI with 59,500 genuine miles and in mint condition. this the second A2 in the family, 2001 1.4 petrol 79,000 on the clock.

I have an additional set of Dark Grey leather seats that came with the car that I am looking to sell.
Can any of the members advise how to sell them to club members? They are in great condition.

Hi mate,I've sent you a welcome message by pm.

Happy to start up a new thread but as everyone is here when do we suggest we have a meet up in Scotland? Would love to meet everyone and say hello. Happy to go any direction to capture most people.

I'd happily sign up to that. Stirling probably a good option. Best start a new thread and PM Mike and Yvonne to assure no clashes with the regular social calendar and they're well versed on the trials and tribulations of organising a meet. Good idea though.
