Hello
iam Andy from Germany and a new member.
Yesterday pimped the original A2 oilcap and changed it into the AUDI R8 oilcap.
I hope i am the first who did this :)
First i will give you a pic from the new cap. Later this evening i will give you pictures how it looks at the A2.

Welcome.

R8 oil cap - that is certainly extreme attention to detail in pimping out your a2! I have a standard 1.6 fsi and I intend to keep it standard, the only addition I have is the audi ipod connector. I really want a cruise control for longer drives as well but will get around to that in the summer.

What other modifications have you made to you're a2? There are some seriously pimped a2's from members on this site.

Don't worry about your english, it's a lot better than my German and I used to lived in Hannover for nearly 3 years!

first i will give you the original Audi item number for this part: 420 103 485 B
In Germany it costs nearly 23 Euro incl tax.
I have modified the cap so it fits behind the (in germany we say) Serviceklappe...
But pictures from this i will post later, cause they are still in the cam:D
I also did a lot of work in the music in our A2. If you are interested in i will start a new thread only for the music...

Hi Andy welcome to site, i would go on the german site more but my german is pretty poor so its a bit trial and error getting around the site, some great A2's on there, and i would just like to say, Wow that sound system must of taken days to put together, very nice

i dont know if there is an another fuelcap possible. But i also dont know any nice fuelcap from Audi or VW. But we have a nice sticker on ouer fuel cap and if you want i will show you.
The sound in our A2 is very delicious.. and it took a lot of time. We are still working on it...

Here are the pictures from the modified R8 Oil cap. The R8 cap is to high. So i made it speciall in heigths and took away some plastik which could not be seen. Than i glued it to the modified originalbottom from the original A2 cap. Now its an original look. and you cant see modification.
