New Audi A2 owner

Hi everyone.
Thought I would join up as I have just bought my first A2, a 52 plate 1.4 petrol grey with 96k miles in very good condition with 17" TT alloys. I've always wanted one but they rarely come up for sale in north east of Scotland. The one I bought has an intermittent electrical fault which flashes up random warning lights then clears again, oil pressure, epc, eml, abs etc. Havent had time to look at them yet but hopefully just a simple wiring fault. When I was driving it home there is also a possible bearing/gearbox noise but I have read they are prone to tyre noise. Again I will investigate further when I have a little more time. Will get some photos soon and post up.
 
Welcome to the forum. Always nice to see new members from Scotland.

When you've time the best way to get competent assistance from the mechanical gurus on here is to have a VCDS scan done and post the results on the forum. Look forward to seeing your pictures. Pick a day without rain. ( We get the odd one or two) :eek:

Very nice indeed; and sporting the obligatory S-line badges you see on many A2 Sport's in particular.

As the A2 was discontinued pretty much as the S line range became available to the UK market, they were never actually sold in this variant - but the Sport with it's 17" wheels, 3 spoke steering wheel and beefy seat bolsters makes for a good imposter:cool:

S line was available in European mainland and had half leather interior.

The lad at my local valet shop has just bought an FSi for his girlfriend ( it has a few sensor gremlins so I suggested he join the forum for some assistance) and he thought it was an S Line due to previous owners adding the badges.
