Hi all.
Having recently purchased bentleys castle red audi a2 1.6 fsi, i can confirm his fears about the common flap issue. The actuator for the flaps has snapped causing the engine mis fire. But it is still a straight well looked after car that should serve me well after a bit of work. Once the damaged part is replaced, intake manifold cleaned and new discs/pads all round and motd. My long term plan(2 years) is to sell it on once repaired and motd. Immediate plans are to swap all the goodies to my car. Then start searching for the parts the car needs ready for the summer repair.
