New Car Collection ?

I`m am Due to be picking up my New TDI sport in the coming days what can iexpect from the dealer, did anyone get any free gifts or the alike?

Besides the usual of wheels, Paint & Interior are there any other things that i have overlooked when collecting the car.

I've had my second A2 for about six weeks now. Because it was my second A2 bought from the same dealer, I got climate control for £200 (usually £800), and the Azure Blue paintwork (usually £400) for nothing. Apart from that, because I used the same Finance company I got 8% APR instead of the 14.5% APR I had on the first car.

The only freebie I got apart from that was a bunch of flowers, which I gave straight to my Mum!

Welcome to the forum. I managed to get a grand of the price, so I had no free extras for the car, except a bottle of oil. I did however get a bottle of champagne - Nice gesture I thought, even though I dont drink.

My advice is check EVERYTHING is in its place and EVERYTHING works. Make a list of all things electric and check they all work, or alternatively ask for the handbook and work through it. The last thing you want is to accept the car and find a bulb has blown etc. (Like the brand new Alfa I saw on 1 March this year which had a faulty rear light cluster). Tell the salesman this is what you intend to do and for him to go and finalise the paperwork, have a coffee etc. Remember you'll own the car a lot longer than it takes to check. We did this when we picked up our smart a few weeks ago. The sales staff said they'd never seen it done before and cheekily requested a copy of our list so they could use it to check themselves! (Things do get missed on PDIs). Enjoy the car.

I got a bunch of flowers with my first A2 and then after the PDI was incorrectly carried out, nothing with the replacement A2.

I think that answers both your questions!!!!!!
