New Grill

Does anyone know if the slatted grill (03 onwards), would fit onto a pre 03 A2? I`m assuming that they are exactly the same size.

If this is the case does anyone know where i might be able to source one?

I like the look of the old one but the new one is just that little bit more classy. Any thoughts please.

You can get 'em from Vagparts.com

They're listed at £44.72. Fitting is a breeze, there have been quite a few owners on the forum who have done this mod.

Personally I'mn not keen on the new grill. I think the smoked perspex old one looks a lot better.

Cheers for the info guys, looks easy enough and not too expensive. Will give my A2 a mid life face-lift.


BTW I`m not just being vain, my current grill has a few small scratches and a nice stain where the previous owner forgot to clean off some bird droppings.

pdiddy - changing the grill is easy to do but just be really careful of the 'catch' on it and closing it for the first time as you need to confident that you will be able to reopen it again when you need to!
