Hi :)
My name's Jeremy, I'm 18 and I live in France. I became owner of my own Audi A2 a few months ago (7 to be precise). It is also my very first car.
The car is 9 years old, and it is about 67K miles.
I joined the forum to find an active community of A2 owners and to get informations about this car and possible issues with it.
I'll upload some pictures of the car soon, and please fogive my english, it is quite bad..

Welcome to A2 ownership-i hope your enjoying your time with your car. Your english is fine. enjoy your time on a2oc mike

Thank you ! :)
Yes, I really love it. I think it is a great car, not too slow and also fun to drive.

Welcome to the A2oc, there is nothing wrong with your english.

And how great to have a A2 as your first car. I would have loved to have one as my first car. :)

Well, thank you everybody for the warm welcome. :)
Riverlad, it is just due to luck. I was searching for a car and I found the A2. As soon as I saw the car, I wanted to buy it. A kind of romance with it. :p

Salut wooly A2 et merci ! :)
Thanks for the welcome the grim reaper :)
Well I had some issues (oxygen sensor) but everything is fine today.
By the way, is there any manner to know if heated mirror can be adapted on the car ?

Well on the UK cars and i would say the EU cars would be the same its just a case of ordering the heated mirrors from your local dealer and swapping them for your old mirror glass the cables should be inside the mirror casing somewhere out the way and just plug them in and off you go ;) It took me nearly a year to realise that it was that simple as i couldn't believe it was that simple but it was

Thanks for your quick answer. That sounds easy.
My local dealer told me that there is the plug behind the mirror, and if there's no wire on the door, it would not work.
So I asked you, are they telling that because they are too lazy and they don't want to order the part ?

It's easy to check if you have wiring for heated mirrors. Just remove the bottom section of the mirror casing using a Torx screwdriver then have a poke round to see if the wiring is tucked inside. If its there, switch on the heated rear screen then check there is power to the small connector using a multi meter.
If everything is in place there is more info on fitting heated mirrors in this thread - http://www.a2oc.net/forum/showthread.php?t=3136&highlight=heated+mirrors

Cheers Spike
