Hi I would just like to introduce my self My name is Steve Russell, I am an Audi/VW Master Technician formally of H R Owen Audi in Colindale, before it closed down. I then joined a VW dealer and also became a VW master technician.
I have just opened my own independent Audi/VW specialist in Kingsbury North West London. We have the same up to date diagnistic machine as main dealers. We can carry out all servicing and repairs including on line feactures that you would normally need to go to a main dealer to have carried out like key and immobilizer coding. So we are a one stop shop for all types of servicing and repair, and our cost are much cheaper than a main dealer.

I went to beechwood in halesowen yesterday, hadn't been there before and because it is not a big place may have friendlier staff.

I think I was the only person in there, three staff on reception chatting to each other and told me to go over to the corner of the room where no one is sitting and ring a bell for parts, how professional :p

I went there to see if they had any of the items I was looking for in the area, and if I could get the numbers of the heated mirrors and told some bulls, along the lines of when I asked for the numbers we can't give you the numbers because they can't be fitted to your car as it requires some special modifications.

When I said it has the wires already fitted for the heated mirrors the staff member apologied; continuing 'maybe they do but you will have to visit another place for those part numbers'. Nothing changed in the standards they train there staff :rolleyes:

Really funny. This is the only thing every A2 has and they still don't know it. Everyone in a forum knows it.
 
I knew I should never have moved from Edgware!
May be visiting later in the year with the car so I may pop in for a nosey.

Good luck with the new business.
We need more decent, informed, reliable, and good value specialists. Just showing up and posting here elevates you way beyond anything I've found down south before.

Now... do you fancy taking on additional premises in SE London / Bromley area? :)
