A2Steve, Wheels are 17" TTRS replicas. Will stick pics up when fitted. (Can I collect the front arch liner at ADI, or is it easier to post?)

Steve B, Oh crap, you mean they spelt my plate wrong! Actually came with the car. Think its been on since new. Pre-Inspection paperwork shows same reg. Cars a 2000 1.4SE, hence XSE.

They sound good and not that common on A2's.

Space will be the issue for the arch liner, my car is already getting pretty full with other parts for members lol.

I'll get a postage quote for you tomorrow once I've measured the liner and then we can go from there. I don't think it will be that expensive to post tbh.

Hi Steve, No problem. Postage is fine. Can just be wrapped in a bin liner and sent MyHermes if you want. Just had an under-tray delivered that way. Or whichever method is easier for you. Cheers. John.
 
I almost bought a set of those for the project.

I like the way they are "Audi" and yet they certainly stand out!!!

Ok, great. They are pretty flexible but I will still try to pack them as well as I can before sending. Is it just the drivers side you want or both? Will make little difference to the postage cost to be honest. Sorry to fill up your thread with this, we can move to pm if you's prefer and I'll delete the post.

Hi Steve B, Yeah couldn't decide what to have so went for the TTRS reps in the end. Had a trial fit with no tyre, doesn't look too bad. Depends how long I keep this one for, also planning on coil-overs & rear disc conversion. But ideally would like a TDi & use the best bits on that. Cheers. John.
 
I am just starting the rear disc conversion on the project.

With wheels like those the tiny drums are on open display and so \I prefer to see the tiny discs.

As for a TDI, I am biased towards the TDI, although the FSI when well sorted, is a flyer and the 1.4 petrol is surprisingly competent!

Yeah, know what you mean, don't like the drums on the back. Just gonna clean them up and paint them black til decide what I'm doing. I'll keep an eye on your disc conversion. This was brought just as a bit of fun & a run around. Always fancied an A2. Cheers. John.

Hi Manhattan$, Yeah I believe the forum member was 'Cliveski' but the car was his ex-girlfriends as far as I know. It did blow a head gasket but that was repaired. It still has some niggles (intermittent warning lights & beeps on the dash), have it on my list of things to do! Cheers. John.
