New owner on Merseyside

Hello All

So a Green 03 1.4 petrol SE has finally arrived on the drive. 83k with Audi dealer history throughout and one previous owner. Very pleased to find she had Bose, Open sky, Parking aids and grey leather interior. Belts and water pump done too.

We had a TDI SE back in 2002 from new and it was great. Always missed it so it's good to back in one and driving it home yesterday across the M62 I had forgotten just what a superb drive they are.

Needs a good valet and a new wiper blade but apart from that we are happy. Sadly this will be my wife's car but if it's on the front of the drive and blocking my car it would be rude not to use it.

Great site was on here before purchasing the car so thanks to all those who provide such a mine of information.

Welcome back to ownership. That sounds a lovely car. Is it pine green or island green?
 
Welcome back! Im sure every A2 owner will own at least two A2's in their life!

Sounds like a very nicely specced A2 you have there! Do you have the rare pearl Green colour?

It is always good to hear that the forum has encouraged more A2 owners and returning owners!!!

Being from Merseyside I do go back there on occasion and one thing I always notice is that there are PLENTY of A2s around.

I can only assume that us Merseysiders (Scousers in my case) find ways of making our money go further?

Perhaps? But there has to be a reason, there seems to be a disproportionate number of A2s there.

Thanks All.

I think it's island green, have searched in here with my code LY1S to no avail. Have found other codes though and now describe my leather as platinum.
