Hi all......

Just a brief introduction, been looking for a decent A2 for a while, now found a very tidy car to build into something even better :).

2004 1.4 SE, Petrol, Masano Red Colour Storm with 37,000 from new and condition to match. Already booked in to A2 Cars at Milton Keynes (very nice people :) ) for some very sensible precautionary work on the way to making this car better than it was when new.....

I've read many of the posts and seems like a very knowledgable and enthusiastic bunch here, not to mention some great looking cars here too. I shall look forward to meeting a few of you as time allows.

Hi prisoner,

and a warm welcome to the forum. I've only been a member on here - and an A2 owner - since April this year but the advice, tips and inspiration from the more experienced members/owners has already proved invaluable. The only problem with A2 ownership is that it becomes addictive; I bought my second one yesterday!

Having now got my original, almost standard spec, dark blue 2001 1.4 SE TDi 75 up to scratch (and a joy to drive), I bought a black 2001 petrol 1.4 SE with OSS, cream leather seats, reversing sensors, Bose and rear electric windows (which I only thought about buying after it was mentioned in the 'Spotted' section of the forum :)), which also needs reviving.

You're in the fortunate position of being relatively close to A2 Cars so I'm sure that your ownership will be at least as enjoyable as mine given that you have both the forum's mine of information and Milton Keynes close at hand.

Happy A2ing,

Jeff

A warm welcome, you will find that this is a friendly forum and we don't mind questions at all, so please fire away and we will see if we can help.

You will soon find out that the A2 gets right under your skin (in a nice way!), if you haven't found out already.

Best wishes
Steve B
