Newbie Audio Question

Hi there,

I have had my A2 1.4 petrol for around a month now. I used to have a '51 plate VW passat 1.9 tdi estate. I have to say the A2 is every bit as good as the Passat and exceeds it most areas. The audio being one them.

This may sound like a daft question, but there is so much bass on offer in the A2 I can't work out whether a sub woofer is fitted.

Having had alook around the forums, the current audio system in the A2 is a concert 2 head unit, with the 4 front and 4 rear speaker set up.

If there is sub (factory) fitted where would I find it?

Mine is fitted with bose. So there is an amp + sub at the lower part of the boot, where the battery is. Quality bass like you said and I generally like it a lot. Except when I play, say Black Eye Peas - My Humps, the bass starts to crack at slightly higher volume...
 
Look in the boot under the bottom floor. The sub would normally live in there. If there's a big gap - then you won't have a sub.

Note that the regular Concert II with mini amp on the rear speakers is a pretty good setup anyway.
